Have you ever imagined the day your life would end? I have. But not in a morbid way, just a curious, I wonder what’s the most likely scenario way. Never in a million years did I imagine it would be by an axe murderer in the black of night in the middle of the Sicilian countryside. Well today that’s what it felt like.

When people ask me to name my favourite movies, my favourite songs, my favourite foods, my favourite designer, I often find it impossible. The more I see and the more I experience the more my tastes and preferences change. But ask me to name my favourite places and I guarantee in years to come, no matter how many places I get to visit in my lifetime, Tasmania will always be sitting pretty in my top three. What an incredible place it is.

Vegetarians look away now. This is a veggie free zone. Unless you count the slither of boiled cabbage that graced one of our four plates of food. But we didn't come for the cabbage, we came for the meat, carbs and paprika.........lots of paprika. Step into the time machine that is Kadar Etz and eat like a true Hungarian.
